I do not believe that the government should be involved as far as protecting culture diversity in the funding sense. If a certain culture is on the verge of extinction then that is just the natural process of life. Much like how plants and animals evolve so do people. Cultures begin to emerge and create what I call a salad bowl. There will be many different aspects of a single culture that have been taken from another culture and morphed to fit their own. I do believe that if a certain culture is being discriminated against then the government should step in legislatively. That is what the government is for, to control the country and make sure it runs smoothly. But I believe financially and culturally everyone is responsible for themselves.
I could be wrong in the sense of if the certain culture does not have the means to keep their diversity alive then the government should step in. That could be what the government is for. The government helps out the people in the country that cannot provide for their families. The government lends a helping hand to many different programs in the country so why shouldn't they to a culture in need of survival. These reasons do get me thinking but I will still hold firm in my belief. I do not believe that the culture is dying all together it just adapting to its surroundings and leading to the creation of a new culture. We all have aspects of our own culture to offer and share. So why not bring them together to create an ever greater culture.
